- Supply of portable fire extinguishers of approved make and capacity, including:
- ABC (Dry Chemical Powder) fire extinguishers suitable for Class A, B, and C fires.
- CO₂ (Carbon Dioxide) fire extinguishers suitable for electrical and flammable liquid fires.
- Foam fire extinguishers suitable for Class A and B fire risks.
- All extinguishers shall conform to applicable standards and statutory requirements, complete with:
- Factory charging and pressure testing.
- Safety pins, discharge hoses, horns/nozzles, and operating instructions.
- Manufacturer’s identification labels and certification markings.
- Installation of fire extinguishers at designated locations as per approved drawings and fire safety requirements, including:
- Wall mounting brackets, clamps, and fixing accessories.
- Installation at recommended mounting heights for easy accessibility.
- Positioning near exits, electrical panels, equipment rooms, and other identified risk areas.
- Supply and installation of extinguisher stands where wall mounting is not feasible, including all necessary supports and fittings.
- Provision and fixing of extinguisher identification signage and location markers for easy visibility and emergency access.
- Inspection of installed extinguishers to verify:
- Correct type and capacity for the hazard category.
- Proper mounting, accessibility, and clearance.
- Compliance with applicable fire safety codes and standards.
- Testing, commissioning, and demonstration of extinguisher operation, maintenance procedures, and safety precautions to the client’s representative.
- Submission of product datasheets, test certificates, warranty documents, and installation records upon completion of the work.
- All labor, tools, transportation, consumables, drilling, fixing materials, and incidental works necessary for complete supply, installation, testing, and commissioning shall be included in the scope.
- Collection, inspection, hydro testing, refilling, and recommissioning of fire extinguishers of various types, including:
- ABC (Dry Chemical Powder) extinguishers.
- CO₂ (Carbon Dioxide) extinguishers.
- Foam fire extinguishers.
- Other extinguisher types as specified.
- Detailed visual inspection of extinguisher cylinders and components to identify:
- Corrosion, dents, cracks, or mechanical damage.
- Leakage, worn-out seals, and defective valves.
- Damaged hoses, nozzles, horns, and safety devices.
- Hydrostatic pressure testing of extinguisher cylinders in accordance with applicable standards and statutory requirements.
- Refilling and recharging of extinguishers using approved extinguishing agents of the correct type and quantity.
- Pressure checks and verification of operating pressure using calibrated testing equipment.
- Replacement of defective O-rings, seals, valve components, safety pins, discharge hoses, and other minor accessories as required.
- Leak testing and performance verification after refilling and pressurization.
- Reassembly, cleaning, and labeling of extinguishers following testing and refilling activities.
- Affixing service records, test dates, refill dates, and next due dates on each extinguisher.
- Submission of hydro test certificates, service reports, and maintenance records upon completion of the work.
- All labor, consumables, transportation, testing equipment, and incidental works necessary for complete servicing shall be included in the scope.
- Provision of Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) services for fire extinguishers and associated fire protection equipment.
- Scheduled periodic inspections and preventive maintenance visits throughout the contract period.
- Inspection of extinguishers to verify:
- Physical condition and accessibility.
- Pressure gauge readings and serviceability.
- Integrity of seals, safety pins, hoses, and mounting arrangements.
- Compliance with statutory and fire safety requirements.
- Identification and reporting of defective, damaged, expired, or non-compliant extinguishers requiring corrective action.
- Minor servicing and adjustments necessary to maintain equipment in operational condition.
- Maintenance of service records, inspection logs, and equipment history throughout the contract period.
- Supply and affixing of compliance tags, inspection labels, and maintenance stickers indicating:
- Date of inspection.
- Date of servicing or refilling.
- Next due maintenance date.
- Technician identification and certification details.
- Compliance tagging and documentation in accordance with applicable fire safety regulations and standards.
- Submission of periodic maintenance reports, deficiency reports, and compliance certificates after each inspection cycle.
- Recommendations for replacement, hydro testing, refilling, or upgrading of equipment where required.
- Emergency service support and attendance for inspection-related issues during the AMC period, as specified in the contract.
- All labor, supervision, inspection tools, documentation, compliance tags, labels, and incidental expenses required for complete maintenance services shall be included.
